Why Do You Need a Wedding Coordinator in Cornwall?
You've spent months (or even years!) planning your wedding. You've chosen the perfect venue, booked incredible suppliers and carefully thought through every little detail. So, as your wedding day approaches, there's one question worth asking...
Who's making sure it all comes together?
This is where a wedding coordinator becomes invaluable.
A wedding coordinator in Cornwall steps in during the final weeks before your wedding, taking everything you've planned and bringing it to life. Rather than answering supplier phone calls, directing guests, checking deliveries or keeping an eye on timings, you can simply focus on what really matters – marrying your favourite person.
What does a Wedding Coordinator in Cornwall actually do?
Before your wedding, I'll get to know every detail of your plans. Together, we'll refine your timeline, confirm logistics with all of your suppliers, answer any last-minute questions and make sure everyone knows exactly where they need to be and when.
On the day itself, I become the main point of contact for your venue, suppliers, wedding party and guests. I'll oversee supplier arrivals, coordinate your timeline, ensure your styling is exactly as you imagined and quietly deal with any unexpected hiccups before you even know about them.
But there's a lot more to wedding coordination than what you see on the day itself.
The lead-up to your wedding day
One of the most important parts of my role actually happens before your wedding day.
In the weeks leading up to your wedding, I'll go through all of your plans in detail and triple-check the information I have. I'll review your timeline, supplier details, setup requirements, key timings and all those little details that can easily get overlooked when you're juggling everything yourself.
I'll contact your suppliers to confirm arrival and departure times, check what they need for a smooth setup and make sure they have all the useful information they need about the venue, access, parking, timings and the running order of the day.
This is particularly important for marquee, dry hire and DIY weddings, where there can be a lot of moving parts and several suppliers arriving at different points throughout the day.
I'll also organise a handover meeting, usually the day before your wedding. This is a really valuable opportunity to go through everything together before the celebrations begin.
We'll talk through the décor and styling, drinks, playlists, the morning-of setup, stationery, housekeeping and any final practical details. We'll make sure I know who the important people are, from parents and members of the wedding party to anyone else who might need to be involved during the weekend.
It's also a chance for you to hand everything over.
Once that meeting is finished, you shouldn't need to spend your wedding morning wondering whether the florist has arrived, whether the bar knows where the drinks are going or whether someone has remembered to put the stationery out.
That's my job now.
Behind the scenes on your wedding day
On the day itself, there is so much happening behind the scenes that you probably won't even realise I've dealt with it.
And honestly, that's exactly how it should be.
A big part of being a wedding coordinator is problem-solving. Things happen. Suppliers get delayed. Deliveries arrive at the wrong place. Guests don't turn up. Timings change. Something gets forgotten.
I'll be there to deal with all of it.
It could be locating a supplier who hasn't arrived when expected, reorganising the seating plan because a few guests haven't made it, chasing a delivery that's running late or even unblocking a toilet when things go slightly pear-shaped!
The list really does go on.
I'll fix the little problems before they become big ones, make decisions when they're needed and keep everything moving without bringing unnecessary stress to you or your guests.
You might see me quietly moving chairs, checking in with the caterers, making sure the DJ knows when the speeches are happening, helping a supplier find their setup location or checking that everything is ready before you walk into the room.
What you probably won't see is the phone calls, messages, problem-solving and quick decisions happening in the background to make all of that possible.
My job is to make sure you don't have to worry about any of it.
Is a Wedding Coordinator worth it?
Absolutely.
Many couples planning a DIY, marquee or dry hire wedding assume they'll manage everything themselves. And of course, you can. But your wedding day isn't the time to be checking deliveries, answering supplier questions, moving furniture or worrying whether dinner is running on time.
Your family and friends shouldn't have to either.
They're there to celebrate with you – not to spend the day coordinating suppliers, fixing problems or keeping one eye on the clock.
With professional wedding coordination in Cornwall, you can hand over the logistics to someone who knows what they're doing, understands how weddings work and is prepared for the unexpected.
Enjoy the day you've worked so hard to plan
You only get one chance to experience your wedding day.
After all those months of planning, choosing suppliers, creating moodboards, making decisions and carefully thinking through every detail, you deserve to actually be present for it.
My role as your wedding coordinator is to take everything you've planned and make sure it happens – calmly, professionally and with as little fuss as possible.
I'll be there for the big things, the tiny details and all the unexpected moments in between.
So while I'm busy behind the scenes making sure everything is running smoothly, you can be busy getting married, celebrating with your favourite people and enjoying every single moment.
If you're looking for an experienced wedding coordinator in Cornwall to seamlessly manage everything you've planned, I'd love to help. Together, we'll make sure your wedding runs effortlessly, allowing you to be fully present for every unforgettable moment. GET IN TOUCH
